The purpose of the Orchestra Booster Club is to:
Promote enthusiasm for the orchestra program among teachers, students, and the general public. Support the program with volunteer labor. Organize and manage fund raising for the annual orchestra trip and other needs.
The Oak Ridge High School Orchestra carries on a tradition of excellence, which includes competing at the local, state, and national levels. Unlike many school orchestras, ORHS includes all students enrolled in the program — there is no tryout to select only the most
advanced performers. Yet, our students and staff consistently rise to the challenge.
Anyone (except current students) who wishes to support the ORHS Orchestra by donating time and/or money can become a member of the Orchestra Booster Club.
